Dinosaur blood temperature is a hot topic, some research suggest that they could have been warm-blooded, like the birds. But nothing established there...
But anyway, that s a lot of snow for this poor creature. It s in front of the Beijing paleotological museum, in which I took refuge from the weather. The place itself is rather disappointing since I know that armies of dinosaurs have been found in various places of China, the museum shows very little, and in a quite old-fashioned setting. I can recommend it as a calm place, I was alone in it (I mean me and the dinosaurs)
And there is a JiaLeFu close to it, so the place is not a totally negative one For the monks I have no idea, I didn t notice when I took the pic... But the place is rather well
rebuilt preserved and maintained, with a special squad of Monks trained with the legendary ancestral anti-tourist Kung-Fu style. The statues are supposedly from the mid XVIII th century, as the rest of the Temple, with some recent addings like a 18m tall Buddha made of one single piece of tree in the 1990s, this is an active place of cult.
